§ 02 - The Problem
Every generic cover
fails the same way.
MG ZS sport seats have aggressive wing bolsters that no flat-cut cover can follow. This isn't a quality problem, it's a geometry problem. And it's the same problem on every Classic and New generation ZS ever made.
We tested six of the best-selling covers on Amazon, AliExpress and specialist EU shops. All six failed within 400 km of mixed driving. The reasons were always the same three.

Wing bolsters lift the cover
Generic covers can't wrap the sculpted side bolsters of MG sport seats. The fabric tents over the wings and never settles flush.

Clips That Can't Hold
Low quality elastic hooks stretch, cheap plastic clips snap. Within days the cover migrates, bunches at the seam, and exposes the original upholstery.

Yes. The MG ZS Classic underwent a facelift in 2021 but the sport seat geometry remained unchanged across the entire production run. During the second facelift, the geometry was changed, but the cover fits all years without modification.
